Speakers, vendors and helpers

Speakers lists people who speak at Australian tech events, by topic and city. Vendors lists businesses that help run events: venues, AV, catering, swag, printing and more. Both are free to browse.

1. Sign in

   Use your free account (see Your free account).

2. Choose Add your profile or Add your business

   Or, on your account page under Directory profiles, choose Create a speaker profile or Create a vendor profile. One of each per account.

3. Fill it in

   Speakers: a one-line summary, what you speak about, up to five topics, the cities you cover (or anywhere), your website and LinkedIn, and whether you are available for paid speaking.

   Vendors: what you do, your products and services, topics, cities and website.

4. Save and send for review

   A moderator checks every profile. We email you when it is live, or why it was not.

Get involved lists events looking for speakers, volunteers or sponsors. On the calendar, the Seeking speakers filter does the same for speakers.

1. Choose Offer to help on an event

   You need to be signed in.

2. Say how you can help

   Choose speaker, volunteer or sponsor, and write a short message.

3. Send to the organiser

   We email your name, message and email address to the organiser, who replies to you directly. You never see their address unless they write back.

Some events come from organisers’ public calendars and have no contact on file. For those, use the event website.

Tick Looking for speakers, volunteers or sponsors when you submit or edit your event. It then shows on the Get involved board and on your event page, and offers arrive by email.
