For community groups and partners
Events on your website
The widget shows upcoming events for a city and topic on your own site, and keeps itself up to date. It is free and needs no account.
Set it up
Open the widget builder
Go to Website widget.
Choose what to show
A city, a topic (or all topics), light, dark or match-the-visitor theme, and how many events (3 to 20). The preview updates as you go.
Paste the one line into your page where you want the list. It works on any site that lets you add HTML, and resizes itself to fit.
What visitors see
- Published events for the next six months, soonest first. Cancelled and postponed events are left out.
- Each event links to its page on eventchecker.io, with links to see them all and to add an event.
- A small “powered by” credit.
- Optionally, one labelled sponsor slot. It helps keep the calendar free; untick it in the builder if you would rather not.
Privacy
The widget sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts on your visitors.Fine-tuning
The code also accepts data-width and data-title if you want a fixed width or your own heading. For a whole calendar in someone’s own calendar app, use a calendar feed instead.
